The Sophos Publishing website was built to promote a book I myself Randy Brown am writing. The website is still a work in progress at this time and is receiving constant daily updates to keep pace during the actual writing of the book it’s promoting.
One unique aspect to this project is the book cover having been a composite in Photoshop of three high resolution images available from the Internet. The images were obtained from Nasa, the Hubble Space Telescope image repository and a public domain image of the “Hand of God” from the Sistine Chapel ceiling painted by Michael Angelo. Once all three images were combined into a new derivative art piece for the book cover it became a uniquely copyrighted work.
The Sophos Publishing logo depicted on the book cover and website is also an original design by Randy Brown. Sophos Publishing will be a newly formed “Self Publishing” company once the book is finished and the final ISBN numbers and bar-codes have been purchased.
